Two workshops organized by the Venice Sustainability Foundation (VSF) and the Veneto Region on the topic of sustainable mobility and infrastructure took place today at Palazzo Linetti.
Among the various partners in attendance, the Veneto Region, Adspmas, BCG, CAV, the City of Venice, Microsoft, Save and Tim each offered their plans regarding the future of the metropolitan area. In particular, project ideas were presented in terms of mobility, focusing on the hypothesis of adapting existing infrastructure. The need for a shift to “greener” vehicle fleets, whether electric, hydrogen or hybrid, was also discussed during the morning.
The attendees expressed great interest while interacting on the topics presented, exchanging ideas on how to optimize the transition to sustainable mobility.
Afterwards, the second meeting related to the theme of environmental protection and circular economy was held, which aimed to report the project advancement regarding what was presented on July 5 and take stock of the situation. In particular, issues related to land reclamation and how to curb some areas from “attacks” by alien species were addressed.
