The Venice Sustainability Foundation (VSF) yesterday Nov, 20 met at its headquarters in the Procuratie Vecchie the students from the Master’s program in Sustainable Tourism at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, accompanied by Professor Jan Van Der Borg. The students came on an academic mission to Italy to analyze the cases of Venice and Florence and compare them with other international realities dealing with socio-economic and sustainability issues related to tourism management in the area.
During the visit, the students had an opportunity for in-depth dialogue with the Foundation’s team, going into detail about the thematic areas it deals with, its operating methods, and the main projects underway in the Venice metropolitan area.
