Thanks to the work of the Venice Sustainability Foundation (VSF), Veneto Region, Parco Italia and Amazon have planted 14,320 trees in nine hectares in the Malcontenta (VE) area.
This is the largest planting carried out so far as part of the national reforestation program “Parco Italia” – a project born from the collaboration between Stefano Boeri and AlberItalia – which aims to reach 70 thousand plantings on Italian soil by 2024.
The choice of Malcontenta emerged during a workshop organized by VSF, which is constantly working to promote an integrated sustainable development of the Venetian territory. A leading role, thanks to VSF’s facilitating action, was played by Amazon, with the aim of contributing to innovative projects that can have a positive impact on the territory.
