Pierre Marval’s photo exhibition “One Thousand Women of Venice” opened yesterday, Nov. 20. In the Ocean space of San Lorenzo, the faces of more than a thousand Venetian women, each accompanied by an adjective chosen by the protagonist of the shot, will be on display until December 27 (Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.). The exhibition is intended as a tribute to Venetian women and their efforts to create a better world.
The exhibition, which is a collateral event of the Biennale della Sostenibilità 2023 – The MOSE Era, was opened by the “Sumus”, an association founded by Hélène Molinari which is concerned with proposing an open platform where citizens, organizations and institutions can meet and work together, forming ecosystems dedicated to all aspects of life: from health to education, and from agriculture to culture, from administration to business.
