On April 11, VSF hosted, at its headquarters, the advisory board of EURICUR – European Institute for Comparative Urban Research, of which Alessandro Costa, VSF general manager, is a member.
The meeting was part of the collaboration initiated between the two entities, aimed at the development of joint research projects on urban issues, the exchange of scientific knowledge and participation in funding initiatives, particularly European, but also the organization of events and seminars, and the promotion of international exchange programs.
The following day, at Ca’ Foscari University Venice, the conference Meeting EURICUR 2025: Knowledge Hubs was held, dedicated to the theme of building networks for knowledge economies. Among the speakers were both VSF Project Manager Jacopo Galli and Iuav University of Venice Rector Benno Albrecht.
Founded to promote comparative research on urban challenges, the EURICUR network of academics fosters collaboration between researchers and practitioners to develop sustainable and resilient cities. The partnership with VSF reinforces a shared commitment to promoting innovative strategies for the future of cities.
