VSF President Renato Brunetta was awarded the “European Relations Award 2025” today, April 11, by the “ETS Foundation – Relationism”. The award was presented to him at Villa Borghese in Rome as part of the Earth Day 2025 celebrations.
Established in 2023, the “European Relationship Award” is given to personalities who have distinguished themselves in promoting valuable relationships that contribute to positive change in Italian and European societies. Previously, Giulio Rapetti Mogol, Michelangelo Pistoletto and Guido Tonelli were honored.
The motivation for this year’s award is based on the strategic approach adopted by the Venice Sustainability Foundation, which aims to build an integrated model of sustainable environmental, economic and social development.
This award,” reads the motivation for the Prize, ”stems from the observation of how the Venice Sustainability Foundation has adopted a strategic approach that harmoniously integrates environmental, economic and social dimensions. VSF, in fact, aims to transform Venice into a model of excellence for the quality of urban life and be an inspiration to cities around the world. In this context, its activities aspire to set new standards for building a sustainable and inclusive future for the preservation of the planet and its biodiversity.
