International Conference “Coastal Cities, Climate Resilience, and Cultural Heritage Protection.”
This event, organized by the Venice Sustainability Foundation (VSF) in collaboration with UNDRR, aims to create a platform for dialogue among coastal cities from around the world, with the goal of developing concrete initiatives and strengthening a long-lasting network of relationships.
The conference seeks to promote a constructive exchange between experts, public administrators, and citizens, in order to define adaptation strategies that address both the urbs — with its physical vulnerabilities — and the civitas — with its capacity for resilience and its deep connection to place.

Closing Event of the Exhibition “Intelligent Venice. The Oldest City of the Future.”A Special Project by the Venice World Capital of Sustainability Foundation / Venice Sustainability Foundation (VSF) for the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025.
The exhibition tells the story of an extraordinary millenary project — a narrative woven from medieval inventions and contemporary technologies, from interventions on nature and human transformations, from strategies of survival and resilience — through which, for centuries, the city has demonstrated its ability to thrive in a hostile environment thanks to the constant exercise of intelligence.
