As part of the activities of the Venezia Città Campus project, the Marina Militare and the Iuav University of Venice have signed an agreement in which the two realities will share their own know-how.
Yesterday, 11 July, the Chief of Staff of the Marina Militare, admiral Enrico Credendino, and the rector of the Iuav, Benno Albrecht (in pic, Marina Militare source, ed.), pledged to collaborate in disciplines of common interest. Thus, the focus of the project will be on issues related to the maritime sphere, urban planning, architecture, security and heritage preservation.
Thanks to this agreement it will also be possible to seek the most appropriate ways for the enhancement of the Arsenale. It is also agreed that the parties will meet to carry out postgraduate training activities for officers and, with a view to exchanging skills, military personnel will be able to act as lecturers in the Venetian university’s training activities.
