The President of Venezia Capitale Mondiale della Sostenibilità / Venice Sustainability Foundation (FVCMS/VSF) Renato Brunetta took part in the closing ceremony of the 22nd edition of Wave, welcomed by the Dean of Iuav University, Benno Albrecht. The workshops at the Venetian university this year were dedicated to the theme of water, as part of the Biennale della Sostenibilità organised by FVCMS/VSF.
During the three weeks of work, 1,200 students and 40 lecturers took turns developing their visions starting with the analysis of Venice and moving on to other territories facing the problems of rising mean sea levels and climate change.
There were six thematic categories in which the young minds engaged: landscapes and contexts, uncertainties, imaginaries, integrated approaches, expressiveness and living together.
