VSF took part in the 2025 edition of the Sustainability Week, promoted by Confindustria Veneto Est and held March 25-28 at Move Hotels Venezia Nord in Mogliano Veneto (TV).
Now in its fourth edition, the initiative offered an overview of sustainability projects launched in the capitals of the provinces of Treviso, Padua and Rovigo, as well as in the Metropolitan City of Venice. The event involved mayors, business representatives and local administrators, with the aim of promoting dialogue between the public and private sectors and stimulating the adoption of virtuous practices in the environmental, social and economic spheres.
During the opening day, after institutional greetings by the vice president of Confindustria Veneto Est, Walter Bertin, Damiano De Marchi spoke presenting VSF’s activities and projects, with a special focus on the prospects for the development of an integrated model of sustainability for the Venetian and metropolitan area.
On March 27, a round table “The Sustainable City: sustainability projects of territories” was held, attended by, among others, Massimiliano De Martin, Councillor for the Environment of the City of Venice, Mario Conte, Mayor of Treviso, Giuseppe Sala, Mayor of Milan, and Stefano Lo Russo, Mayor of Turin.
