The Venice Sustainable Foundation (VSF) continues its activities related to Venice’s role as Resilience Hub under the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction’s (UNDRR) “Making cities resilient” program.
On November 6, in Budva, Montenegro, in the context of the Europe and Central Asia Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction, the meeting of the cities selected as Resilience Hub was held, with the participation, for VSF, of PierPaolo Campostrini. In his speech, Campostrini stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation among the different Resilience Hubs to develop joint initiatives to protect cultural heritage and urban resilience. These comparisons are key to generating and sharing innovative solutions, enhancing the experiences and expertise gained in their respective cities.
Campostrini also elaborated on the development prospects of the “Venice City Campus” project, which aims to create a knowledge economy cluster in the city.
