The European Cultural Heritage Summit 2023, the annual ‘rendez-vous’ for cultural heritage stakeholders in Europe organised by Europa Nostra and co-funded by the European Union will be held from 27 to 30 September in Venice. During the Summit, the winners of the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards 2023 will be celebrated at a prestigious event with the participation of Cecilia Bartoli, President of Europa Nostra, and Margaritis Schinas, European Commission Vice-President for Promoting our European Way of Life.
In addition, the new European Heritage Hub will host a forum to explore the consequences of climate action without culture in Europe and beyond. The annual European Heritage Policy Agora also takes place in the framework of the Summit, focusing on the role culture and heritage can play in building a European Cultural Citizenship.
